I received a Bachelor of Applied Biology from the University of Adelaide, majoring in both genetics and microbiology. I then went on to complete my honours project looking at the effects of 'super seeds' on human gut cell lines. I am continuing this research with my Doctor of Philosophy, where I will look at the effects of more 'superfoods' using a gut-on-a-chip model as well as other cell culture techniques.
