Sayli Viren Vartak
Sayli Viren Vartak is a Master of Nutrition and Population Health student at Deakin University, Australia, with a background in nutrition and a passion for public health, maternal and child nutrition, and health promotion. Originally from India and having studied in Malaysia, she has developed a strong interest in understanding how culture, food and community shape health behaviours. Her undergraduate research at International Medical University, Malaysia, explored the use, perceptions and motivators of galactagogues among breastfeeding mothers. Outside academics, Sayli enjoys travelling, baking, cooking and exploring new experiences. She hopes to build a career in nutrition and public health, contributing to meaningful, evidence-based health initiatives and improving nutrition outcomes across diverse communities.
