Carrie Wong
Carrie is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian and a Lecturer of Nutrition at Swinburne University of Technology. She has more than a decade of community health dietetics experience and brings her interest in public health, public health nutrition, refugee health, equity and social justice to inform nutrition curriculum and teaching. Her current research spans food literacy, refugee health, nutrition communication, and nutrition/dietetics educator teaching practice. A co-convenor of the Primary Health Care Special Interest Group with the Public Health Association of Australia, she advocates for prevention-focused upstream approaches to addressing complex health issues.
